Jobu design is a manufacturer of unique products for the photographic market.

We strive to create the highest quality products at affordable prices. Jobu Design only creates products that we would be happy using ourselves.

We work with professional photographers who put our products through severe real-world tests. We also listen carefully to Our customers who provide valuable feedback for continuous product improvement and cost-reduction.

Only the best materials and processes are used to make great products that survive long-term outdoor usability and punishment.

Warranty Information:

On most of our items, we offer a 1 year "No questions asked, fix-it and send it back like-new" warranty. The only cost involved is shipping back and forth, which is generally paid by the customer (we will only pay at our discretion). For the next 2 years, we will strive to offer free repairs, or only charge our minimal replacement costs for broken items, plus shipping costs. We have the best warranty in the business and will strive to make you happy.

Upgrades:

Quite often we are asked about upgrading products with newer components. This can usually be accomplished simply and inexpensively, often your old items will be traded-in as well. Just email us and we'll discuss your requirements.

Purchase Information:

We currently can accept payment in 3 ways:

Phone/Fax your Visa/MC/Amex order, or order through our secure website. You will only be charged at time of shipment, your card is not charged until we verify the order and process it!
International Money Orders or Bank checks may be mailed to us (please no US-only MO's... they don't work well in Canada).
Live in the GTA? Visiting? Drop in and say hello, see our products in person.

Please note, for VISA/MC/Amex orders we charge in $CDN at the prices shown. Your credit card company will convert the charges back to $US (if in the US) or Euros, or local currency. Due to exchange rate differences there may be a slight discrepancy in the final price, Jobu Design is not liable for adjusting this difference.

Product Returns

Products may be returned within 45 days of purchase for full refund, minus shipping charges. Orders over 45 days will be subject to a 25% restocking fee.

Shipping Information:

Generally, we ship by Canadapost Expresspost or by Canadapost Expedited post.
Expresspost is usually 3-5 days with Full Tracking online -- it is just as good as any other courier (Fedex, UPS, Purolator). You will NOT get charged brokerage fees using Canadapost/USpost. Keep that in mind if you think you want to upgrade your shipment (eg. Fees are around $25US at UPS).
Expedited post is about 10 business days. It has Semi-Detailed tracking information, non-real time. This method is much cheaper because it goes by ground. It has proven very reliable although the lack of real-time shipping info can be frustrating at times.
We can ship by any other method you desire.
Keep in mind that major holidays will slow down ALL the couriers! This also goes for hurricanes and snowstorms, etc. Please order early and do not wait until the last minute before your big trip -- you may be disappointed.
International Shipments: PLEASE NOTE! Customs charges, duties, import taxes, sales tax, brokerage fees... these are all possible charges that your home country and/or courier may charge you upon delivery. Jobu Design bears no responsibility whatsoever regarding these charges and will not reimburse individuals for these charges. It is up to the buyer to investigate with their local customs office. For example, VAT and Duty Tax for photographic goods to the EU can be up to 25% of the retail price of the product!
